The Goldfinch

Warner Bros. Pictures and Amazon Studios feature “The Goldfinch: The Illusion of Freedom”, a screening of the best-selling novel “The Glasses” by Donna Tartt who won the Pulitzer Prize and Andrew Carnegie’s Fiction Excellence Medal.

Theodore “Theo” Decker was 13 years old when his mother died of a bomb attack in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The tragedy has completely changed the course of his life and sent him on a path full of pain and guilt, rediscovery, repentance and even love. Through all these, over the years, he has kept only one tangible hope, namely an amazing painting with a bird linked to his cage … the “Glasses” masterpiece.
