The dream of music teacher Joe Gardner (Jamie Foxx) is to become a jazz singer. Only, before he can enjoy the moment that opens this path, he has an accident which leads to an ethereal, transitional space. Here he meets 22 (Tina Fey), a young and naive soul, with whom Joe will embark on a journey that has to bring him back to his body before it’s too late.
