Disturbed in the Arctic desert, Overgård (Mads Mikkelsen) is about to be saved after long expectations. However, following a tragic accident, the opportunity to save is lost. The man now has to decide if he will wait for the end of the relative safety of the camp he is in, or he will try to save himself in a deadly race through the frozen unknown.
