The scenario, imagined by Oren Uziel (Mortal Kombat: Legacy) and Dave Callaham (The Expendables), features a seemingly harmless man at the center, who discovers his potential as a fighter once he is caught in a confrontation between Earth fighters and monsters in Outworld. In order to save Earth from total annihilation, he must win the martial arts tournament known as Mortal Kombat.
